LABIA é um projeto de investigação que assenta na construção de corpes-monstres, na descoberta das suas infinitas possibilidades de destruição e sobrevivência. Infinitamente. Corpes nascides na falha de um regime político hétero-capitalista. Corpes impossíveis que se permitem a existir com carne, pele e alma, abalando territórios cimentados e um sistema corrupto e corrompido. Raízes que nascem das pedras e se propagam, abrindo fissuras em paradigmas estabelecidos. Corpes em constante devir, em fuga da Humanidade, sem território e empoderades. Devir-serei(es) que mergulham nas profundezas da ancestralidade numa nova forma de conviver com os animais, com os mortos e com o planeta como cadáver e fantasma. Na celebração de um luto. Como consequência, uma relação com a morte e uma iniciação à vida, num sistema de comunicação interspécies, sem soberania nem hierarquia.

LABIA é a construção de um universo que possibilita extrapolar, transcender a materialidade individual e corpórea, desfazendo a lingua(gem) colonizadora e binária, propondo discursos da língua a partir do seu gesto, ampliando as suas múltiplas possibilidades num processo artístico e de vida sem fim. Na ação de Transmutar. Transitar. Transpirar. Transgredir. Transtornar. Criando outros sentidos e abrindo espaço para o encontro com uma estética de travessia na direção de futuros ̶(ı̶n̶)imagináveis de expansão existencial no aqui e agora.

LABIA é um projeto de caráter processual e transmutante de encontro entre artistas multidisciplinares e transdisciplinares, que navegam entre mundos sem se encerrar em formas enraizadas de operar, numa coexistência e resignificação das suas (res)(ex)istências, numa constante construção e destruição de objetos múltiplos, em cada espaço e tempo que ocupar, num devir-coletividades sem apagar as suas subjetividades.

LABIA is a research project that is based on the construction of monster bodies, on the discovery of their infinite possibilities of destruction and survival. Endlessly. Corps born in the failure of a heterocapitalist political regime. Impossible bodies that allow themselves to exist with flesh, skin and soul, shaking cemented territories and a corrupt and corruptible system. Roots that are born from the stones and propagate, opening fissures in established paradigms. Corps in constant becoming, on the run from Humanity, without territory and empowerment. Becoming-to-be(ings) who plunge into the depths of ancestry in a new way of living with animals, with the dead and with the planet as corpse and ghost. In the celebration of a mourning. LABIA is the construction of a universe that makes it possible to extrapolate, to transcend individual and corporeal materiality, undoing the colonizing and binary language, proposing discourses of language from its gesture, expanding its multiple possibilities in an endless artistic and life process. In the action of Transmuting. Transit. Sweat. Transgress. Creating other senses and opening space for the encounter with an aesthetic of crossing in the direction of ̶(ı̶n̶))imaginable futures of existential expansion in the here and now.
LABIA is a project of a processual and transmuting nature, a meeting between multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary artists, who navigate between worlds without locking themselves into rooted ways of operating, in a coexistence and resignification of their (res)(ex)istences, in a constant construction and destruction of multiple objects, in each space and time they occupy, in a becoming-collectivities without erasing their subjectivities.
